Nikhil is a fifth-grader living on the Upper West Side in New York City. While he was born in the USA, Nikhil is very interested in learning about his Indian heritage. He feels that with diversity come different ways of thinking and expressing critical experiences—life would be extremely boring without diversity.

Nikhil loves to read, play soccer, piano, run, and hang out with his friends and younger brother. He wants to be a professional soccer player or a scientist when he grows up.
